Digital Divide is a situation linked not only to the access of the internet but it is also the way individuals use it and on how they benefit from using it.( Fuchs & Horak, 2008)
The digital divide is a social inequality and economic with regard to access to, use of, or impact of communication technologies and information. Website access is essential to unlocking Africa’s future and opening up the economic and social opportunities that this global network of networks can bring. .
Technology start-ups coming out of Africa have blossomed in the past years, putting the continent on the digital innovation map. one example is Kenya's mobile money transfer services M-Pesa which is now being offered by Vodafone in Asian markets.
