UNEMPYMLOENT IN SOSHANGUVE, PRETORIA
Over the past few weeks South Africa experienced a wave of protest action across most provinces. According to ANC spokesperson Jesse Duarte there have been protests in ‘only' 14 of the 283 municipalities, but other sources put the figure at more than twenty. Many reasons for these protests are offered. The primary reason, it would appear, is dissatisfaction with the delivery of basic municipal services such as running water, electricity and toilets, especially in informal settlements. Unemployment (officially at around 23%), high levels of poverty, poor infrastructure, and the lack of houses add to the growing dissatisfaction in these and other poor communities.

The 6 D's of solution fluency:
- Define- one of the biggest problem of unemployment in Soshanguve is the fact that there are a lot of poor households which mostly do not afford to take their children to school or tertiary institution to have qualifications. this can be solved through free education provided by our government to all this underprivileged youth and also through youth empowerment programmed.
- Deliver- in order for me to create change to the problem that the youth of soshanguve is facing, I am going to have workshops that will empower the youth and provide them with skills that they can use to build their own business and make an income from their skills and talents
- Discover- the issues started from the fact many household do not have financial background that will help the youth to go to proper schools and institutions
- Debrief-the changes that occurred are massive because a lot of youth are now involved in community projects which eventually decrease the crime around the area, improved youth intergrity and created more jobs.
- Design- used workshops and community projects as well as training and skills designing
- Dream- one has to have dreams and goals in order to have ideas that will solve the solution into the unemployment world in order to create more jobs around our country.
